This is the Final Report for Project # 20-1308 – Flora Road River Trail Property Acquisition. Spokane Valley used this grant under a waiver of retroactivity to acquire approximately 42.90 acres from the Washington State Department of Transportation. The project scope was changed via Amendment #1 to allow for Cultural Resources as an allowable expense in addition to land acquisition costs.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
