Project Highlights

Snohomish County has acquired 3.4 acres from the Edmonds School District to expand Esperance County Park. The goal of the project is to preserve public open space and develop new park amenities for the community. The primary recreational opportunity provided is passive recreation and community athletic facilities.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
