Project Highlights

State Parks used this grant to redevelop the day-use area at Cornet Bay in Deception Pass State Park. Work inlcuded adding a new restroom, a picnic shelter, trash collection station, storm drainage and water system improvements.

Location Details

Drive north on I-5 to exit 230, then travel 18 miles west on SR 20 toward Oak Harbor. Park entrance is on right, one mile south of Deception Pass Bridge. Turn left, and proceed down hill to Cornet Bay.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
