Project Highlights
Seattle Parks and Recreation will use this funding to develop the North Rainier Land Banked site, a new 1-acre park in the Rainier Valley of Southeast Seattle. This grant will be used to provide opportunities for picnicking, exercise and play. Funded elements include a fitness zone with exercise equipment, picnic tables, playground, circulation paths, and green space. The primary recreational opportunities provided by this grant are picnicking, fitness and active play.
