The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
The acquisition of these two (2) private parcels are the last acquisitions required to enable the Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma to have complete access around Wapato Lake. The property, when developed, will also provide opportunity for a small parking area.
