Project Highlights

The Town of Tonasket is applying for a development grant to build a 10,000 square foot skate park. This project will be part of Chief Tonasket Park, which along with the skate park will eventually have soccer and baseball fields.

From Olympia, Frwy 5 to Hwy 18, Hwy 18 to Frwy 2 , cross Columbia River , take Hwy 97 north to Tonasket. Project located adjacent to City at treatment plant.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
