The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.

Project Highlights

Cowlitz County Parks and Recreation will use this grant to develop an underutilized portion of Riverside Park in Kelso, Washington. This project will focus on a new playground and asphalt pump track as well as furnishings including ADA picnic tables, bike racks, and benches. The primary recreation opportunity provided by this project is active play.
