Project Highlights

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission acquired 37.76 acres to expand Loomis Lake State Park. Loomis Lake State Park encompasses nearly 250 acres along the shoreline of Loomis Lake on the Long Beach peninsula.

From Long Beach, take Highway 103 north. Turn right on Cranberry Rd., then left on Birch St. Road terminates at Island Lake on Klein property.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
