The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
Prosser used the grant to build a new bathhouse and 2 outdoor swimming pools in E.J. Miller Park. The renovation provides access for people with disabilities, increases pool use, and corrects health code violations. The city also added 2 slides, a play toy for children, and new decks. Finally, to meet health codes, the city replaced its chemical and circulation systems.
