The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
Cowlitz County used this grant to improve facilities at Harry Gardner Park located south of Toutle. A covered pavilion, picnic tables, grills, and ADA access were added to the park. The primary outdoor recreation opportunity provided is camping and day use of covered picnic area.
