The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
The scope of the Rocky Hill Park project was the acquisition and development of 13.2 acres of land for a community park. Development included landscaping, restrooms, paved pathways, 2 tennis courts, community garden, playground, picnic areas, and informal amphitheater. The purpose of the Rocky Hill Park project was to create additional park space in an underserved area of the community and the project has been completed.
