Project Highlights

This project will include renovation and development at Evergreen Park to include an amphitheater, 2 playfields, a new picnic shelter and restrooms at the south end. The path will be extended by 1,760 linear feet, providing barrier-free waterfront access. The boat launch parking area will be re configured and enlarged.

Location Details

From the Bremerton Ferry Dock, proceed north on Washington Street. Continue through the intersection at Washington & Manette Bridge, Washington turns into 11th Avenue. Proceed west on 11th Ave. to Park Avenue, turn right. Proceed North on Park Avenue until you reach Evergreen Park, 1400 Park Ave. The project is newly acquired property at Smith Cove between Sheldon Ave/13th Street and Smith Cove to Pacific Avenue.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
