The City of Soap Lake has use the RCO grant to build a new full basketball court, ADA Parking, and benches at Smokiam Park. Project is complete and operational.

Location Details

Smokiam Park is easily accessible from Highway 17, which runs through Soap Lake. The park’s parking lot is located at the intersection of Highway 17 (Daisy Street) and 2nd Avenue NE.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
