The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
This 5.5 acre parcel was acquired. A cultural resources survey was completed on the property. The existing home and all outbuildings were demolished and removed from the property. The improvements planned for this property include parking lot expansion, development of a nature play area,trail improvements, interpretative signage, and a restroom. This project is in the parks department 6 year Capital improvement program with completion scheduled for 2024.
