Join us, Clark County Public Works, and Representative Stephanie McClintock from the 18th Legislative District for a tour of the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad Trail.

Clark County used a WWRP Trails grant to develop 1.0 miles of the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad Trail beginning at Battle Ground Lake State Park. The trail, an important recreation resource in the county, now extends 38 miles from Vancouver in southwest Clark County to Chelatchie Prairie in the northeast. Purchased in the mid-1980s, the trail corridor hosts both an excursion train that runs north of Battle Ground and the opportunity for a parallel trail. A chain-link fence will separate the trail from the rail line.
