Tekoa's pool was first developed over 40 years ago and had reached the end of its service life. This project replaced the existing pool with a new facility. The pool serves several communities in this agricultural area and is popular throughout the summer. Community and volunteer donations provided most of the match for the grant.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
