This development project lies in the Lake City neighborhood, one of Seattle's most densely populated areas, with the least amount of open space of all city neighborhoods. Lake City is an urban island isolated by major arterials and a county highway. Just under an acre in size the park will provide all the amenities of a small community park including a children's play area, picnic spaces, open space, paths and a water feature that draws from a nearby Thornton Creek.
Location
From I-5, go to the 145th Street Exit. Head east. Right on Lake City Way. Right on 143. Left on 32nd. Park is on the right (west) side of the street.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
