This project in Mason County renovates outdated restrooms by providing barrier-free access, better maintenance practices and aesthetics. A much needed multipurpose picnic shelter will provide a facility for large community events, family picnics, and outdoor concerts. Additionally, all paths in the park will be made barrier-free.
Location
Kneeland Park is located in downtown Shelton, just to the west of Simpson Timber Company's mill and Burlington Northern's rail yard. The park is accessible from north bound State Route 3 and located at the corner of State Route 3 and Turner Avenue.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
