Cashmere Swimming Pool Revitalization

Cashmere seeks to renovate an eighty-year-old community swimming pool. Proposed improvements include: removing the existing concrete tank and filtering system; installing soil drainage to prevent groundwater problems; and constructing a new 25-yard by six-lane lap pool and separate wading pool. The project will also update the filtering system, expand the deck area, and provide handicap access. Additional amenities are: interactive play structures, a public address system, pool blanket cover, benches, and landscaping.
Location
Natatorium Park is located on Paton Street. Enter Cashmere from Highway 2/97 at Aplets Way bridge, continue south five blocks, cross the railroad tracks and turn right (west) onto Sunset Avenue, continue one block turn left (south) onto Paton Street, continue 100+ yards to Natatorium Park. The park is across from the school district bus maintenance shops. Pool is behind ""scout building"".

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
