We are thrilled to welcome Andrea McNamara Doyle as the new Interim Executive Director of the Coalition. As the Executive Committee begins the search for the next leader of the Coalition, we are excited by this opportunity for reflecting on the incredible work the Coalition does. This time of change is an opportunity to advance and develop the organization so that we are prepared to carry our important mission of protecting our state’s best places forward into the next 25 years.
Andrea brings more than 20 years of experience as a non-partisan leader in Washington State, most of which has been spent in public service as senior counsel, policy adviser, and committee coordinator for the Washington State Senate, and as a Governor-appointed board member of the Pollution Control and Shorelines Hearings Boards. She most recently served as the Executive Director of the Public Disclosure Commission, Washington’s campaign finance and lobbyist watchdog agency.
Andrea is a life-long resident of Washington and proud to have worked and recreated in all 39 counties of the state. In her free time, she is most likely to be found camping, hiking, traveling, and exploring all regions of this great state with her husband, two teenage daughters, and their new labradoodle puppy.
We encourage you to reach out to Andrea with questions you have or hopes you want to express for our Coalition’s next exciting chapter, at Andrea@WildlifeRecreation.org.
