WWRP funding is being put into action with the Iron Horse Renslow Trestle update.
Excerpt: An old railroad trestle that crosses Interstate 90 near Vantage will be upgraded thanks to funding in this year’s state capital budget.
Funding for the Iron Horse Renslow Trestle was included and approved this year’s capital budget.
The trestle received $1.23 million in grant funding from Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program, said Washington State Parks Central Cascades Area Manager Jason Both. The work will include new decking and railing.
