A $427,319 Critical Habitat WWRP grant to the Methow Conservancy will protect important shrub-steppe habitat. Without the WWRP-funded easements, the 2,180 acres of land would be subdivided for residential development.

The Recreation and Conservation Office announced on June 27 that Methow Conservancy will receive a $427,319 critical habitat grant from the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program.
