After fifteen rewarding years, I am writing to let
you know that I am leaving my position as Executive Director of the Wildlife
and Recreation Coalition on October 2. I am starting my own public
affairs business to get back to the policy work I love most, and to spend more
time with my young boys.

I could not be more proud of all that we have
accomplished together. During this period, with your invaluable help, the
Coalition has successfully advocated for more than half a billion in public
funds to protect our state’s most threatened habitat and ensure there are more
parks for our kids, locally grown food for our families, and clean water where
anglers can cast their lines.

The future of the Coalition is in great hands! With
a highly regarded board and a strong, passionate staff, I know the Coalition
will continue to be a leading advocate for Washington’s great outdoors.

Thank you for letting me be part of this amazing
work with you!

Yours in partnership,

Joanna Grist

Executive Director
