The Coalition is greatly saddened by the passing of Bill Ruckelshaus, a long-time friend and partner of the Coalition. He passed away on Wednesday, November 27 at his home in Seattle, at the age of 87.
The first-ever Director of the EPA, Bill believed in the importance of working across political boundaries to protect our outdoors and environment. His wisdom, insights, and leadership will be dearly missed in Seattle and beyond.
You can read more about his legacy at the EPA and across the country in this Seattle Times memorial article.
