Hunting Made Easy: Clinic Offers Ideal Learning Environment for Pheasant Hunters

December 27, 2017

Thirty hunters attended a pheasant hunting clinic hosted by Pheasants Forever and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, accompanied by nearly 30 volunteers and 14 eager dogs.

Excerpt: “…several families attended the clinic this year, with some parents, like Kevin Comment, seeking the thrill of watching their son take down his first bird. Kevin Comment began hunting at a young age and hoped to see his son, Augustus, harvest his first pheasant.

‘It’s a very unique opportunity,’ Comment said. ‘I get to spend time with my son doing something we both enjoy. It’s a good program for anyone getting started in hunting.’

Those father-son memories are a big reason Cline and others do whatever they can to make the clinic open to everyone.”
