July 25, 2017

KING5 News talks about how the lack of a Capital Budget has affected local projects like the Arboretum Waterfront Development Trail in Seattle.

Excerpt: “Except, there’s not enough money to complete the work due to a failed capital budget. It’s one of about 100 projects statewide that won’t get needed funding. Some focus on fish habitat, others on protecting land from development.

The wetland around the Arboretum is vital habitat and the restoration work would raise the trail off it.”
