State Parks

The Coalition is thrilled that the legislature appropriated $65 million in the 2013-15 capital budget to fund over 80 projects towards the preservation of wildlife habitat, the protection of working farms and the creation of neighborhood parks and ballfields in communities across Washington.

WWRP State Parks grants fund the expansion, development, and creation of Washington State Parks and campgrounds.  A minimum of 50% of the funds in this category must be used for acquisitions.

Since 1990, the Coalition has secured over $96.9 million for state grants to for 109 State Park projects in Washington State.

Below are lists and a map of proposed and funded WWRP projects.
