Larry Scott Trailhead parking lot expanded

Port Townsend Leader

The Larry Scott Trail trailhead off Milo Curry Road, near Four Corners, is going to be expanded to provide enough parking for four horse trailers with towing vehicles.

Construction is to begin in late June and last about two weeks, during which time the existing parking area and adjacent trail section will be closed to the public.

The project is funded by a Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program grant through an appropriation by the state Legislature and with local funds.

Bidding for this project’s construction contract takes place in May.
