NCWLIFE reports that construction is set to begin this month on a new skate park in Wenatchee’s Hale Park. The project was funded by a Washington Wildlife & Recreation Program (WWRP) grant.

The project is designed by local skaters and Grindline and should be completed and ready to skate by the end of July.
Funding for the $279,000 project is coming from State Recreation Conservation Office Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program and Federal Land and Water Conservation fund grants.
