The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
The Town of Wilkeson used this grant to construct an approximately 2,500 square foot skatepark geared specifically for beginner to intermediate skateboarders and skaters. Other improvements include signage and landscaping. The primary recreation opportunity provided by this project is skateboarding.
