The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
Development of the west end of Chiawana Park. Improvements included a waterfront trail, picnic shelters, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and a playground. Project also included the acquisition of a small parcel to extend the bicycle/ pedestrian trail.
