Location Details

Interstate 90 east of Seattle and across the Cascades Mountains. At town of Easton, travel south on Cabin Creek Road. At mouth of canyon, Monahan Road exits to the north. Gate. Travel through gate and drive west along the John Wayne Trail. Lands are along Yakima River approximately 3 miles west of entrance to trail. Other lands are further south along the Cabin Creek Road within the Cabin Creek Canyon.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
