Project Highlights
This wetland site in Klickitat County provides vital habitat for a variety of endangered, threatened, and candidate species such as bald eagles, spotted frogs, sandhill cranes, great blue herons, cavity nesting ducks, Merriam’s turkeys, pileated woodpeckers, black-tailed deer, and elk. The site is considered one of the most valuable in Washington by amphibian experts.
