Project Highlights

The Vancouver-Clark Parks Department used this grant to acquire 0.45 acres of land within the Rose Village Neighborhood, a densely developed low-income area within the City of Vancouver. Future development as a neighborhood park is planned.

I-5 south, exit at NE 39th Street (aka State Route 500 east) exit #2, proceed east on NE 39th Street approximately 1/4 mile to the intersection of P Street (prior to the on ramp of SR500), turn right (south) onto P Street and proceed approximately 1/4 mile to the intersection of NE 33rd Street, turn left (east).

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
