The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.

Project Highlights

This project completes phase 1 construction and renovation of the city’s swimming pool, including replacement of all circulation and filtration elements, and construction of a new zero-depth pool with a water slide. Eligible elements also included decking, fencing, a heater, accessible ramp for the lap pool, office and entry way.

Pool is located in the city's East Park. Access to the park is from Hwy #28, thru the surrounding neighborhood. South from highway on H St., to Parkway Dr.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
