The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
The City of Bellevue has completed the Construction of Inspiration Playground, both phase 1 and phase 2. The Playground has been constructed to provide a universally accessible, sensory-rich play experiences and equipment suitable for all ages and abilities. The play spaces accommodate the needs of all children – those who are typically developing as well as those with physical cognitive of sensory disabilities. The playground provides play areas for younger and older children, climbing wall, water spray play, king of the hill slide, rain/sun shelters and restroom upgrades to provide adult size changing tables.
