Local Parks grants help protect these symbols of vibrant communities, providing places for families to gather and play and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle in an era when people spend increasing amounts of their time inside. The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
The Town of Creston would like to build an outdoor recreational facility that includes two (2) tennis Courts, one multi-purpose court and a 9,000 square foot skate park with a mini half pipe, grind rails and bank ramps on an existing 18″ cement pad. This project received the highest priority from the residents of the Town of Creston and the Creston School District. This area includes Creston (253) and the unincorporated towns of Lincoln (210) and Seven Bays (256).
