The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.

Project Highlights

Total acreage purchased was 6.07 acres. The City already owned ( through unvacated streets and alley) approx. 1.85 acres. The Stadium was recently demolished, and this will complete this grant.

I-5 N or or I-5 S, take Exit 177 towards Edmonds SR-104. Take a slight right onto SR-104 towards the Kingston Ferry. Keep left onto 5th Ave S. Turn right onto Dayton Street. Turn left onto 6th Ave S. Continue for two blocks; park is on right.

What is the WWRP

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
