The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
The City of Hoquiam used this grant to renovate the existing Central Play Park which is located in Hoquiam, at the intersection of SR 101 and SR 109 in Grays Harbor County. The City installed a new playground, replaced an existing wading pool with a new spray park, installed fencing and improve accessibility with new pathways. The primary recreation opportunity provided by the project is active water play and new playground equipment.
