The WWRP is the largest source of local parks funding in Washington, helping communities fund the acquisition, development, and renovation of vital recreation areas and green spaces.
Project Highlights
Renovation of an eighty-year-old community swimming pool. Proposed improvements include: Removal of existing concrete tank and filtering system. Install subsoil drainage to prevent groundwater problems, construct a new 25-yard by six-lane lap pool and a separate wading pool. Install current technology filtering system, increase deck area, provide handicap access, reconstruct a retaining wall, install safety fencing between wading pool and main tank. Add amenities for interactive pool recreation equipment, a public address system, pool blanket cover, benches, reinstall existing blocks and diving board, landscape to restore park grounds.
