The Jefferson County Public Works Department will use this grant to buy the remaining 1.5 miles needed to develop the Larry Scott Trail from the Cape George Road area to the Four Corners area. A 4-foot-wide horse path will parallel the trail. Crews also will build a trail head at the south end of the trail that will include parking, a kiosk, and links to other modes of transportation.
