Location
The site is situated about four miles ne of Quilcene and four miles south of state HWY 104- Quilecene -Chimacum Road. From the Quilecene-Chimacum road, proceed east on Dabob Road about two miles to the intersection of Dabob Post Office Rd. Turn south, make the first immediate right turn onto Carl Johnson Road. Follow this road for about a mile until you see a private road on your right. The northern restoration site will be on your left. Continue past that until you see a pull out on the right, drive a little bit farther until you see a flatten area overlooking the spits on your left right before the road drops down the hill towards the creek.
