Burnt Bridge Creek Trail
Description:
This project involves the development of key sections of an 8-mile, shared-use, regional trail system that extends east/west through the city of Vancouver along the Burnt Bridge Creek Greenway. These include Arnold Park, Leverich Park, BPA Park, David Douglas Park, South Vancouver Lake and Stewart's Glen Natural Area, Meadow Brook Marsh, the Vancouver Tennis Center, Fort Vancouver High School, Discovery Middle School, and the Bagley Community Center. The trail will provide opportunities for hiking, jogging, and biking in the center of an urban area with over 230,000 people, and will provide trail facilities for major walking and biking events such as Vancouver's annual Discovery Walk Festival, which attracts hundreds of people each year from the throughout the United States, Canada, and other countries.
