Description

This project is located approximately 4.5 miles north of the City of Vancouver and involved the acquisition of approximately 55.3 acres of park land comprised of heavily wooded areas and adjacent pasture land. The acquisition is part of a project site that will eventually serve as a major urban regional park.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
