This development project creates a 5.3 acre riverside park in a dense urban setting. It will serve as the city's first community park and as a regional park facility along the Sammamish River Trail. Features include a non-motorized boat launch, a multipurpose play area, and a large covered picnic pavilion. The park will provide a children's play structure, bike racks, parking, and paths with interpretive signing that link city and regional trail systems.
Location
Take I-405 north from Bellevue to SR 522, the Bothell/Monroe Exit. Turn east toward Monroe and take the first exit (Woodinville Exit) south into downtown Woodinville. Just south of the intersection of NE 175th Street and Sr. 202 (131st Ave.) the site is the vacant lot between a Jack-in-the-Box Restaurant and multi family housing adjacent to the Sammamish River.
