Willapa Hills Trail- Chehalis to Adna
- Status
- Funded in 2010
State Parks will use this grant to improve 10 miles of the Willapa Hills Trail between Chehalis and Adna. Much of the 56-mile-long rail-trail, which runs from Chehalis to South Bend, is closed to the public because of the poor condition of railroad trestles and trail surface. Proposed improvements include building trailheads at Chehalis and Adna, paving the trail, adding a gravel side for equestrians, and re-decking one trestle. Each trailhead will provide parking for 10 vehicles, picnic tables, and a restroom. State Parks will contribute $180,000 in a federal grant.
Location

Turn left onto SW Riverside Dr. Stay straight to go onto SW Newaukum Ave. SW Newaukum becomes SW Elzina St. SW Elzina St becomes SW Newaukum Ave. SW Newaukum becomes Shorey Rd.
