This Seattle project converted a parking lot into a much needed neighborhood park in the Ballard Community. Improvements include grassy play areas, a children’s playground, court facilities, park furnishings, and a flexible basketball court area.
Location
NW 67th Street and 30th Ave. NW, of the Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard. In Ballard, drive west on Market St to right on 30th Ave NW. Continue through residential neighborhood to 67th St. Park is on NW corner of block behind Nordic Heritage Museum.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
