This project developed approximately 2,000 lineal feet of Washougal River shoreline and related greenway. Project highlights include approximately 2,800 lineal feet of trail, a riverside overlook platform with a view of Mt. Hood, and revegatation of about four acres of the site.

NE 3rd Avenue at Shepherd Road. Sites are both south & north of 3rd and across river on south side under and downstream from transmission lines.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
