Purchase of 596 acres of shorelands, wetlands, and flood plains on Vancouver Lake just west of the City of Vancouver. This property provides critical wintering areas for Canada geese, migrating sandhill cranes, and a variety of other waterfowl. The project complements Clark County facilities nearby.
Location
The southeast shore of 2,800 acre Vancouver Lake just touches the west city limits of Vancouver, Washington. Road access to the south and east sides at Vancouver Lake is via Fruit Valley Road and Laframbois Road.

What is the WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
