This combination project in Klickitat County protects 720 acres of wetland habitat for a variety of endangered, threatened, and candidate species. The wetlands system features an amphibian with a very limited occurrence in Washington. Proposed development includes: an interpretive nature trail, bridge, boardwalk, bike racks and non motorized boat access.

Approximately one mile northwest of the town of Trout Lake; twenty miles north of the City of White Salmon.

What is the WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
